Terrifier 3 comes to 4K and Blu-ray in December

The 2024 film “Terrifier 3” is coming December 17th to physical media. It will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray, 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, and Blu-ray Disc. These “Collector’s Editions” will be released via Cinedigm. The film was written and directed by Damien Leone. It stars David Howard Thornton, Lauren Lavera, and Elliott Fullam. Other cast members include Samantha Scaffidi, Antonella Rose, Margaret Anne Florence, and Bryce Johnson. Also featured are Alexa Blair, Mason Mecartea, Krsy Fox, and Clint Howard. Jon Abrahams, Chris Jericho, Daniel Roebuck, and Jason Patric are also part of the cast. It’s worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) on Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and audio has yet to be detailed. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and audio has yet to be detailed. Rock ‘n’ Roll High School comes to 4K in December

The 1979 film “Rock ‘n’ Roll High School” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 10th via Shout! Studios. The film, co-directed by Allan Arkush and Joe Dante, starred P.J. Soles, Vincent Van Patten, Clint Howard, Dey Young, Mary Woronov, Paul Bartel, Dick Miller, Don Steele, and Ramones (Joey Ramone, Johnny Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, and Marky Ramone).

The movie has received a new 4K scan from the original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Dual Mono lossless sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray counterpart included. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon. Also, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder at online retailer GRUV. You can even preorder directly via Shout! Factory’s website where you’ll get a bonus poster. The 4K release will include audio commentary tracks. This 3-disc set uses the third disc (Blu-ray) for additional special features (listed below).

Rob Zombie film 3 From Hell on 4K and Blu-ray

The 2019 Rob Zombie film “3 From Hell” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on October 15th (just in time for Halloween) via Lionsgate. The film is a sequel to Zombie’s films “House of 1000 Corpses” (2003) and “The Devil’s Rejects” (2005). The cast includes Sheri Moon ZombieSid HaigBill Moseley, Emilio RiveraDanny Trejo, Clint Howard, Richard Brake, Daniel Roebuck, and Dee Wallace. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby TrueHD 7.1 sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray releases include 1080p HD in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with the same Dolby TrueHD 7.1 sound mix. The releases will both come in the form of “combo pack” with the 4K getting the Blu-ray counterpart included, the Blu-ray getting a DVD, and a digital code (copy) of the film included with each. The 1979 film Rock ‘N’ Roll High School is getting a “40th Anniversary Edition” Steelbook release to Blu-ray Disc on November 19th via Shout! Factory. The film, executive produced by Roger Corman, featured a cast of P.J. SolesVincent Van PattenClint Howard, Dey YoungMary Woronov, Paul Bartel, Don SteeleDick Miller, and punk band the Ramones. Tech specs for this release include 1080p video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative. UPDATE: I’ve just confirmed that audio on this release includes DTS-HD Master Audio Mono and Stereo sound. The 40th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray Steelbook is now available to pre-order over at Amazon and directly via the Shout! Factory store.
