Wolf Man comes to 4K and Blu-ray in March

The 2025 film “Wolf Man” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on March 18th. These releases will come via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The film was directed and co-written by Leigh Whannell and it was produced by Jason Blum (of Blumhouse). The film stars Christopher Abbott, Julia Garner, and Sam Jaeger.
The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Both releases will include a digital copy compatible with Movies Anywhere.

Kraven the Hunter comes to 4K and Blu-ray in March

The 2024 film “Kraven the Hunter” comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray Disc on March 4th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The movie, based on the Marvel comics character, was directed by J.C. Chandor. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, and Russell Crowe.

Poor Things starring Emma Stone on Blu-ray in March

The 2023 film “Poor Things” is officially coming to Blu-ray on March 12th via Searchlight Pictures (Disney). The film, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, stars Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Christopher Abbott, and Jerrod Carmichael. It’s certainly worth noting that this film has been deemed “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.66:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The release will include a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the Blu-ray Disc available for preorder over at Amazon. The 2018 film “First Man” starring Ryan Gosling is officially coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on January 22nd, 2019 via Universal. This tells the story of NASA astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon. The film, directed by Damien Chazelle, features a supporting cast of Claire Foy, Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, Corey Stoll, Christopher Abbott, and Ciarán Hinds.
Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with both Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound (on a BD-100). RUMOR: The 2018 film “First Man” starring Ryan Gosling is apparently coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on January 22nd, 2019 via Universal – according to an early alert to retailers. The film, directed by Damien Chazelle, co-stars Claire Foy, Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, Corey Stoll, Patrick Fugit, and Christopher Abbott. The tech specs and bonus materials for the releases have not yet been detailed, as this is just a rumor at this point, but stay tuned for updates. It is known (from the artwork) that the releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K including a Blu-ray, the Blu-ray including a DVD, and both getting a Digital Copy of the film. PRE-ORDER listings are available for 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray over at Amazon and Best Buy. As with all rumors, take this with a “grain of salt” so-to-speak until the title is officially announced by the studio (Universal).
