Clint Eastwood’s Juror #2 on Blu-ray in February

The 2024 film “Juror #2” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on February 4th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The film was directed and produced by Clint Eastwood. The cast includes Nicholas Hoult, Toni Collette, J.K. Simmons, Kiefer Sutherland, Chris Messina, Gabriel Basso, Zoey Deutch, Cedric Yarbrough, Leslie Bibb, Amy Aquino, and Adrienne C. Moore. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” (by critics) on Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come with a digital copy, presumed compatible with Movies Anywhere. No bonus materials will be included with this release. The 2010 film Devil is coming to 4K in early October

The 2010 film “Devil” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on October 8th via Scream Factory. The film, directed by John Erick Dowdle, co-written and produced by M. Night Shyamalan, starred Chris Messina, Logan Marshall-Green, Jenny O’Hara, Bojana Novakovic, Bokeem Woodbine, Geoffrey Arend, Jacob Vargas, and Matt Craven.

The movie has received a 4K restoration from the interpositive negative. Tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 Stereo lossless sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included, using the 4K restoration. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon, online retailer GRUV, and directly via Shout! Factory’s website. The following bonus materials will be included with the 2-disc set.

Sci-Fi Thriller I.S.S. is coming to Blu-ray in March

The 2023 science fiction thriller “I.S.S.” (short for International Space Station) is coming to Blu-ray Disc on March 12th via Decal Releasing, distributing for Bleeker Street.  The film, still in theaters, was directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite and the entire cast includes Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina, John Gallagher Jr., Masha Mashkova, Costa Ronin, and Pilou Asbæk.

The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.  You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon and Walmart.  This release will be region A locked. It appears it will contain no bonus material.

RUMOR: “Birds of Prey” on 4K and Blu-ray May

The 2020 film “Birds of Prey” starring Margot Robbie, as “Harley Quinn”, appears to be coming to physical media on both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc, via Warner, on May 12th – according to retailers. This comes after the film was recently released early digitally when theaters closed during these strange times we currently are living in. The film, directed by Cathy Yan, co-stars Rosie Perez, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Ella Jay Basco, Chris Messina, and Ewan McGregor. The tech specs for the releases have not yet been detailed but it is believed that the 4K will receive both HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range as well as Dolby Atmos sound. The 4K it is known from the artwork (pictured above) will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray and a digital code (copy) of the film included. So far, that’s all based on retail sources and has not yet been officially announced by the studio (Warner), making it technically a RUMOR. You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray both available for preorder over at Amazon. It’s worth noting you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray as well as over at retailer Best Buy, who will be getting an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below), also now available for preorder. Stay tuned for further details about this film’s home video releases once it gets officially announced, one would expect likely very soon. HBO limited series “Sharp Objects” with Amy Adams on Blu-ray in November

The 2018 limited series “Sharp Objects“ starring Amy Adams is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 27th via HBO (Warner). This critically-acclaimed miniseries, created by Marti Noxon, co-stars Patricia Clarkson, Chris Messina, Eliza Scanlen, Matt Craven, Henry Czerny, Taylor John Smith, Madison Davenport, Miguel Sandoval, and Sophia Lillis. It’s also worth noting this is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes where, at time of writing, it carries a 93% rating.

“Sharp Objects“ is available for PRE-ORDER on Blu-ray over at Amazon. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with the audio yet to be announced, spanning across a 2-disc set. The release will include a digital copy of the episodes in the miniseries. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
