Own “The Meg” on both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in November plus Steelbook
The 2018 Jon Turteltaub directed film “The Meg” is officially slated to be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on November 13th via Warner. The 4K version will also get an Exclusive Steelbook release over at Best Buy on the same day. The film’s cast includes Jason Statham, Bingbing Li, Rainn Wilson, Ruby Rose, Robert Taylor, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Sophia Cai, Masi Oka, and Cliff Curtis.
Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.4:1 aspect ratio with both Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of High Dynamic Range as well as both Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p video in the 2.4:1 aspect ratio as well as both Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K including a Blu-ray of the film, the Blu-ray including a DVD of the film, and a Digital Copy of the film on each. The film is available to PRE-ORDER both in 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray formats now over at Amazon.
