The 2002 film We Were Soldiers on 4K in November

The 2002 film “We Were Soldiers” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 5th via Paramount Home Media Distribution. The film, directed by Randall Wallace, starred Mel Gibson, Madeline Stowe, Greg Kinnear, Sam Elliott, Chris Klein, Keri Russell, Barry Pepper, Jon Hamm, and Clark Gregg.

This is the first time the film has been available on the 4K UHD Blu-ray format. The tech specs for the 4K release and bonus materials have not yet been detailed but stay tuned for an update. It is known that this release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included along with a digital copy. Mini-Series Lawman: Bass Reeves on Blu-ray in April

The Paramount+ original Mini-Series “Lawman: Bass Reeves” is coming to Blu-ray Disc on April 30th via Paramount Home Entertainment. The show, created for television by Chad Feehan, stars David Oyelowo, Lauren E. Banks, Demi Singleton, Forrest Goodluck, Dennis Quaid, Barry Pepper, Grantham Coleman, and Donald Sutherland.

The tech specs for the release have yet to be detailed but should include a 1080p HD video presentation and a lossless sound mix (likely in a 5.1 surround configuration), spanning across a 3-disc set. The Blu-ray is now available for preorder over at Amazon and Walmart. The bonus materials set to be included with the release are listed below.

2019 horror film Crawl on Blu-ray in October

The 2019 horror film Crawl is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 15th via Paramount. The film, produced by Sam Raimi and directed by Alexandre Aja, stars Kaya Scodelario and Barry Pepper. Tech specs for the release have not yet been fully detailed, although you can likely expect a lossless 5.1 mix but stay tuned for an update on that. The release will come in the form of “combo pack” with a DVD and a digital code (copy) of the film. The Blu-ray is now available to preorder over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

The 2005 film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada directed by and starring Tommy Lee Jones is coming to Blu-ray Disc on May 28th via Sony, according to an early alert to retailers. The film’s supporting cast included Barry PepperDwight Yoakam, Julio Cesar Cedillo, January Jones, and Melissa Leo.
