The 1995 film Clueless comes to 4K in July

The 1995 film “Clueless” will be released in 4K UHD Blu-ray format. It will also be available as a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook starting on July 8th. The distribution is managed by Paramount Home Media Distribution. This is according to retailers. The release will be a “30th Anniversary Limited Edition.” Amy Heckerling wrote and directed this movie. It starred Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer, Brittany Murphy, and Paul Rudd.
The details about this upcoming release have yet to be detailed by the studio. Tech specs should at least include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and a lossless 5.1 surround sound mix. However, stay tuned for an update on the exact tech specs. Essentially, wait until we see the back of the packaging. That being said, it’s unknown what bonus materials will be included with the release. You can likely expect the legacy Blu-ray extras and a digital copy of the film. Each release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. The physical extras set to be included with the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook set are shown below.
