The 1999 film “American Pie” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on September 30th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Paul Weitz directed the movie. It starred Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari, Chris Klein, Tara Reid, Natasha Lyonne, Jennifer Coolidge, and Eugene Levy.
The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, accompanied by Dolby Vision and HDR10, and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound on a BD-100 disc. Both 4K releases will come as 2-disc “combo pack” with their Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Also, each will feature a digital copy compatible with Movies Anywhere.
