The 2025 film Bugonia on 4K and Blu-ray in December

The 2025 film “Bugonia” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray, 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, and Blu-ray on December 23rd via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Yorgos Lanthimos directed the movie. It stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone. It is worth noting that this movie is deemed “Certified Fresh” by critics at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.50:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.50:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K releases will each come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. The 4K and Blu-ray releases will include a digital code (copy) compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 1995 film Clueless comes to 4K in July

The 1995 film “Clueless” will be released in 4K UHD Blu-ray format. It will also be available as a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook starting on July 8th. The distribution is managed by Paramount Home Media Distribution. This is according to retailers. The release will be a “30th Anniversary Limited Edition.” Amy Heckerling wrote and directed this movie. It starred Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer, Brittany Murphy, and Paul Rudd.
The details about this upcoming release have yet to be detailed by the studio. Tech specs should at least include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and a lossless 5.1 surround sound mix. However, stay tuned for an update on the exact tech specs. Essentially, wait until we see the back of the packaging. That being said, it’s unknown what bonus materials will be included with the release. You can likely expect the legacy Blu-ray extras and a digital copy of the film. Each release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. 2020 film “The Lodge” comes to Blu-ray in May

The 2020 horror film “The Lodge“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on May 5th, via Universal, according to retailers. The film, directed by Severin Fiala & Veronika Franz, stars Riley Keough, Richard Armitage, Alicia Silverstone, Jaeden Martell, and Lia McHugh. This movie has been pretty well-received by the critics so far, since its January release, and at the time of writing this, it is currently “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. The release will include a digital code (copy) of the film. You can find the Blu-ray is now listed for preorder over at Amazon. There’s also a placeholder listing (set as “coming soon”, with the release date) over at retailer Best Buy. It appears that no bonus materials set to be included on this release, according the back of the package art (as seen over at Amazon).
