The Eyes of Tammy Faye on Blu-ray in November

The 2021 film “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 16th via Disney. The film, based on the true story & documentary (of the same title), directed by Michael Showalter, stars Jessica Chastain, Andrew Garfield, Cherry Jones, Mark Wystrach, Sam Jaeger, and Vincent D’Onofrio.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. It should be noted that a 4K UHD digital version of the film will be available, but not physically. You cannot yet find the Blu-ray available for preorder at any retailers, but stay tuned for an update. The Blu-ray will come with a digital code (copy) of the film.

Free Guy with Ryan Reynolds on 4K and Blu-ray October

The 2021 film “Free Guy” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on October 12th via 20th Century Studios (Disney). The film, directed by Shawn Levy, stars Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, Joe Keery, and Taika Waititi.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound. The 4K release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. The Blu-ray will also include a digital code.

UPDATE: You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. Also, there will be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook available of the film over at retailer Best Buy as an exclusive (pictured below). That also is now available for preorder.

In addition to the aforementioned releases, there will also be a 4K UHD Blu-ray exclusive “art edition” available over at retailer Target (pictured below). That version is available now for preorder as well.

The tech specs for the release include a 2160p presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital copy of the film.
