Talladega Nights gets a 20th anniversary 4K in August

The movie, directed and co-written by Adam McKay, produced by Judd Apatow, starred Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. It co-starred Leslie Bibb, Sacha Baron Cohen, Gary Cole, Amy Adams, Jane Lynch, David Koechner, and the late great Michael Clarke Duncan. The movie has become a cult classic over the past two decades, especially with the NASCAR community. This marks the first time that it has been available in 4K UHD on physical media.

The movie has received a new restoration from the original camera negative. It will include both the Theatrical (108-minute) and UNRATED (122-minute) cuts of the movie in 4K. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.40:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range along with new Dolby Atmos and the previous lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound included. The 3-disc set will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterparts included for both versions of the film. A digital copy (code) compatible with Movies Anywhere will be included.

The 2011 film Bridesmaids is coming to 4K in May

The 2011 comedy Bridesmaids is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on May 12th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

It’s worth noting that the movie is celebrating its 15th Anniversary, with a majority of the cast having a reunion onstage at the 2026 Academy Awards just this past Sunday. Paul Feig directed the movie, which Kristen Wiig co-wrote, and Judd Apatow produced. It starred Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ellie Kemper, and Melissa McCarthy. The supporting cast included Rebel Wilson, Chris O’Dowd, Matt Lucas, Tim Heidecker, and Terry Crews.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.40:1 aspect ratio, Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) high dynamic range, and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. A digital code (copy) of the film is also included, which is compatible with AppleTV or Fandango at Home (formerly VUDU).
