The 2026 movie “Mercy” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on April 7th via Amazon MGM Studios, distributed here by Alliance Home Entertainment.
Timur Bekmambetov directed the film, which stars Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson. Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p UHD video presentation in a 2.20:1 aspect ratio, Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) form of high dynamic range, and Dolby Atmos sound. The Blu-ray tech specs include a 1080p HD video presentation in 2.20:1 aspect with Dolby Atmos sound. No bonus material will be included with either release.

The first movie features a new 4K scan of the 35mm original Technirama camera negative. The other films feature new 4K scans from the 35mm original camera negative(s). The tech specs for each film include a 2160p video presentation in 2.20:1, 2.39:1, and 2.35:1 aspect ratios, in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible), with lossless 5.1 and 2.0 sound, each on a BD-100 disc. Individually, these releases will be a 2-disc “combo pack” with their Blu-ray Disc counterpart(s) included.
The 1965 musical “The Sound of Music“ is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 23rd via Disney. The movie is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. Robert Wise directed the film, which starred Julie Andrews, and Christopher Plummer. It co-starred Eleanor Parker, Richard Haydn, Peggy Wood, Charmian Carr, Heather Menzies, Nicholas Hammond, Duane Chase, Angela Cartwright, Debbie Turner, and Kym Karath.

This will be a 3-disc set “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included for the movie, as well as an additional Blu-ray Disc for extras. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.20:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound. A digital copy of the film will also be included.

The 1982 film “TRON“ and its sequel “TRON: Legacy“ (2010) are individually coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on September 16th via Disney. The first film [“TRON”] was directed and co-written by Steven Lisberger. It starred Jeff Bridges, Bruce Boxleitner, and David Warner. The second film [“TRON: Legacy”] was directed by Joseph Kosinski. It starred Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, and Michael Sheen.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray releases of each film include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.20:1 aspect (for the first film) and 2.35:1, shifting to a 1.78:1 aspect ratio (for IMAX footage of the second film), featuring Dolby Vision and HDR10, accompanied by Dolby Atmos sound. Each release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Also, a digital copy of each film will be included. The 1962 film “Lawrence of Arabia“ is finally getting an individual 4K UHD Blu-ray“60th Anniversary Limited Edition”SteelBook release on June 7th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. This film had previously been released on the 4K format as part of a box set and this will mark the first time it has been available outside of that set as an individual release.
The film, a winner of 7 Academy Awards (“Oscars”), directed by David Lean, starred Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn, Jack Hawkins, Jose Ferrer, Anthony Quayle, Claude Rains, Arthur Kennedy, Omar Sharif, and Peter O’Toole.
This has been “fully restored from the original camera negative.” The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.20:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. It also includes a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround lossless mix as well. NOTE: The film is split up across 2 discs for both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray versions. Speaking of which, the release comes in the form of a “combo pack” meaning it includes its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film.
