The AppleTV+ original series “The Morning Show: Seasons 1 & 2“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 11th via distributor Fifth Season. The show has won four Primetime Emmy awards over the years and is now in its fourth season. It stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Steve Carell, Nestor Carbonell, and Mark Duplass.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray set include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.00:1 aspect ratio, accompanied by lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and uncompressed LPCM 2.0 stereo sound, spanning across an 8-disc set. The 2024 film “The Life of Chuck” is set to release on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on September 30th via NEON, distributed by Decal Releasing. The film was both directed and written by Mike Flanagan, based on a short story by Stephen King. It stars Tom Hiddleston, Jacob Tremblay, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Mia Sara, Mark Hamill, with David Dastmalchian and Matthew Lillard. It’s worth noting that this movie is “Certified Fresh” based on critics’ reviews at Rotten Tomatoes.

TV Show “Chucky: The Complete Series” is coming to Blu-ray SteelBook and Blu-ray on September 23rd via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The show, based on the “Child’s Play” film series created by Don Mancini, includes the voice of Brad Dourif (as “Chucky”). It stars Zackary Arthur, Björgvin Arnarson, Alyvia Alyn Lind, and Devon Sawa. It also features the voice of Jennifer Tilly.

The Unholy Trinity comes to Blu-ray in August

The 2024 film “The Unholy Trinity“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 26th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. Richard Gray directed the movie. It starred Pierce Brosnan, Samuel L. Jackson, Brandon Lessard, Gianni Capaldi, David Arquette, and Tim Daly.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.00:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The Blu-ray will include a digital copy of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere. No bonus materials will be included with this release. The 2024 film Flow gets Criterion 4K and Blu-ray

The 2024 computer-animated film “Flow” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on September 23rd via The Criterion Collection. The movie was directed and co-written by Gints Zilbalodis. It was the 2025 Academy Award-winner for “Best Animated Feature Film.” This film is also deemed as “Certified Fresh” (by critics) and “Verified Hot” (by audiences) on Rotten Tomatoes.

This has received a 4K digital transfer. The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.00:1 aspect ratio with SDR (standard dynamic range). No HDR (high dynamic range) will be included with the 4K UHD release. The sound will be presented in a lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 configuration. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.00:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 sound. The 4K release will come as a 3-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. The Blu-ray release will come as a 2-disc set.
