1992 film Death Becomes Her arrives on 4K in October

The 1992 film “Death Becomes Her” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on October 22nd via Scream Factory. The film, directed by Robert Zemeckis, starred Meryl Streep, Bruce Willis, Goldie Hawn, and Isabella Rossellini.

The movie has received a new 4K transfer of the original 35mm camera negative. Tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 Stereo lossless sound mixes. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder via Amazon, online retailer GRUV, and directly (with a bonus poster) via Shout! Factory’s website. The film, written & directed by Michael Dougherty, starred Brian Cox, Anna Paquin, Dylan Baker, Rochelle Aytes, Lauren Lee Smith, Moneca Delain, Tahmoh Penikett, Brett Kelly, Britt McKillip, Samm Todd, and Leslie Bibb.

The movie has received a new 4K restoration by Arrow Films, approved by writer-director Michael Dougherty. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 Stereo sound.
