The film, written & directed by Wes Craven, starred Robert Englund, John Saxon, Johnny Depp, Heather Langenkamp, Ronee Blakley, Amanda Wyss, Jsu Garcia, Charles Fleischer, Joseph Whipp, Joe Unger, and Lin Shaye.
The movie is celebrating its 40th anniversary in a big way with there to be a standard 4K UHD Blu-ray (pictured above on the left), a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured above in the middle), and in the United Kingdom there will be a 4K UHD Blu-ray “40th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’s Edition” set (pictured above on the right). It is known that the film has received a new 4K restoration.
