“Veep: The Complete Series” is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 22nd via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment, according to retail sources. The show ran for 7 seasons and it starred Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Reid Scott, Timothy Simons, Matt Walsh, Gary Cole, and Kevin Dunn. Tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. The Blu-ray set is available for preorder atย Amazonย and Walmart, as well as theย online retailer GRUV. The set will include hours of bonus materials from the seasons previously released on Blu-ray.

A Nightmare on Elm Street is coming to 4K in October

The modern classic 1984 horror film “A Nightmare on Elm Street” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on October 15th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The film, written & directed by Wes Craven, starred Robert Englund, John Saxon, Johnny Depp, Heather Langenkamp, Ronee Blakley, Amanda Wyss, Jsu Garcia, Charles Fleischer, Joseph Whipp, Joe Unger, and Lin Shaye.

The movie is celebrating its 40th anniversary in a big way with a standard 4K UHD Blu-ray (pictured above on the left), a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured above in the middle), and in the United Kingdom there will also be a 4K UHD Blu-ray “40th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’s Edition” set (pictured above on the right).

It is known that the film has received a new 4K restoration and will include both the theatrical and uncut versions of the film in 4K. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The artwork tells us the SteelBook release will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital copy included. The standard 4K release will have a digital copy.

You can already find the standard 4K UHD Blu-ray listed at online retailers Amazon and DeepDiscount and retailer Target (mistakenly for the SteelBook), the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook listed at online retailers Amazon & GRUV and retailer Walmart. The film, written & directed by Damian McCarthy, stars Gwilym Lee, Carolyn Bracken, Tadhg Murphy, Caroline Menton, Jonathan French, and Steve Wall. It’s most certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.

It’s certainly worth noting that the movie is celebrating its 25th anniversary and carries a “Certified Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
