Anime One Piece Film Red gets a 4K SteelBook in November

The 2022 Anime “One Piece Film: Red” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on November 5th via Crunchyroll. The film, by TOEI Animation, was directed by Gorô Taniguchi. This film follows the “One Piece” Anime TV series from 1999 and is an alternate-language version of “One Piece: The Movie” (2000).

Tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Japanese Dolby Atmos and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 lossless surround sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. The included Blu-ray is locked to regions A and B. Planes, Trains & Automobiles getting 4K SteelBook

The 1987 film “Planes, Trains & Automobiles” will get an Amazon-exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on November 12th via Paramount Home Media Distribution. The film, written & directed by John Hughes, starred Steve Martin, John Candy, Edie McClurg, Michael McKean, Dylan Baker, and Laila Robins.

The movie back in 2022 received a 4K restoration and standard 4K UHD Blu-ray release. As previously mentioned, this 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook will be exclusive to retailer Amazon where you can find it now available for preorder. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, on a BD-66 disc. The 2002 film “We Were Soldiers” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 5th via Paramount Home Media Distribution. The film, directed by Randall Wallace, starred Mel Gibson, Madeline Stowe, Greg Kinnear, Sam Elliott, Chris Klein, Keri Russell, Barry Pepper, Jon Hamm, and Clark Gregg.

The show ran for 7 seasons and it starred Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Reid Scott, Timothy Simons, Matt Walsh, Gary Cole, and Kevin Dunn. Tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. The Blu-ray set is available for preorder at Amazon and Walmart, as well as the online retailer GRUV. The set will include hours of bonus materials from the seasons previously released on Blu-ray.
