The 1983 film Krull comes to 4K in September

The 1983 film “Krull“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on September 16th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Peter Yates directed this film. It starred Ken Marshall, Lysette Anthony, Freddie Jones, and Francesca Annis.

The movie has been restored from the original camera negative and approved by Cinematographer Peter Suschitzky. The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision or HDR10. It comes with Dolby Atmos, lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround, and 2.0 surround sound. This 2-disc set will be a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. A digital copy of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere, is also featured.

The 2024 film The Surfer comes to 4K in July

The 2024 film “The Surfer“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on July 15th via Lionsgate Limited. Lorcan Finnegan directed the film. It stars Nicolas Cage, Finn Little, Rahel Romahn, Nic Cassim, Julian McMahon, Miranda Tapsell, Alexander Bertrand, and Rory O’Keeffe. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is deemed “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes, based on reception from critics.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision or HDR10 and Dolby Atmos sound. The 2-disc set will be a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart. A digital copy of the film is also included.

The 2025 film “Final Destination: Bloodlines” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on July 22nd via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky directed the movie. It starred Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, and Richard Harmon. The cast also includes Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, and Rya Kihlstedt. Brec Bassinger and Tony Todd complete the ensemble.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of HDR and Dolby Atmos sound. “Roger Waters: This Is Not a Drill (Live from Prague)“ comes to Blu-ray Disc on August 1st via Legacy Records. The live concert film was recorded at the O2 Arena in the Czech Republic on May 25, 2023. Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters plays many of the songs Pink Floyd fans are familiar with. He also includes songs from his solo career and a new song. Here’s the description of this release.

“Originally recorded and filmed during Waters concert at the O2 Arena in the Czech Republic on May 25, 2023, this Blu-ray captures Waters’ widely praised live show, featuring iconic tracks like “Us & Them”, “Comfortably Numb”, “Wish You Were Here”, and “Is This The Life We Really Want?”. Additionally, Waters performs his highly acclaimed new song, “The Bar”.
