Read more“The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs“ will get a “Double Feature“ Blu-ray Disc release on October 14th via Shudder. This double feature includes films, both directed by Joe Lynch. First off, you get “Suitable Flesh” (2023), and next you get “Mayhem” (2017). In between the films, you’ll get all of the footage that was shown during the Shudder streams of these episodes of the show. The Shudder original series stars John Bloom (a.k.a. “Joe Bob Briggs”) and Diana Prince (a.k.a. “Darcy the Mail Girl”). The show is currently in its seventh season. These two episodes aired during seasons 6 and 2, in order of the film’s titles.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in 1.78:1 and 2.35:1 aspect ratios with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Stereo sound. The full runtime is 4 hours and 55 minutes, with extra time added to the movies for each, ensuring you get the show bits. Hopefully, we will see more of these home video releases of “The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs” soon from Shudder.

The 2012 film “The Place Beyond the Pines“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on October 21st via Shout Select (Shout! Studios). Derek Cianfrance directed and co-wrote the flick. It starred Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes, and Ray Liotta. It’s worth noting that this movie remains “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes, based on critics’ reviews.
The motion picture has received a new 4K restoration approved by Director/Co-Writer Derek Cianfrance. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio in SDR [without HDR], accompanied by lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo sound. The 2-disc set will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

“A Nightmare on Elm Street 7-Film Collection“ is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 30th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. A limited edition 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook Library Case will also be available exclusively at Amazon (pictured below).
This collection includes the following seven films.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray releases include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range for each movie. The 1999 film “End of Days“ is getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray “25th Anniversary Edition” release on October 7th via Scream Factory. Peter Hyams directed the film, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. It co-starred Gabriel Byrne, Robin Tunney, Kevin Pollak, and CCH Pounder.

It starred Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari, Chris Klein, Tara Reid, Natasha Lyonne, Jennifer Coolidge, and Eugene Levy.

This will be a 2-disc “Collector’s Edition” and “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. This has received a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative.
