The 2018 computer animated sequel “Ralph Breaks The Internet” is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 26th, via Disney. The film features the voice talents of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Gal Gadot, Taraji P. Henson, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, Alan Tudyk, Alfred Molina, and Ed O’Neill.
Tech specs for the 4K include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with High Dynamic Range (likely in HDR10, although not specified) with Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect with DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound. Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting a Blu-ray included, the Blu-ray getting a DVD included, and each getting a Digital Copy of the film. You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray both listed over at Amazon to pre-order (for the Blu-ray only so far). It’s also known that retailer Best Buy will be getting an Exclusive Steelbook for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release (pictured below). That can be pre-ordered now.

The BBC series “Doctor Who” will be getting a “Doctor Who: Tom Baker Complete Season Seven“ Blu-ray Disc release on March 19th, via BBC. This season of the show marked Baker‘s final year as the fourth incarnation of the Doctor. A total of 29 episodes are included and have been each restored in HD. The tech specs have not yet been detailed. The Blu-ray set is available for pre-order over Amazon. Bonus materials have not yet been fully detailed but it is mentioned over on Amazon that it:
“comes with in-depth special features, both old and new.”
Stay tuned for any further updates regarding this release. It’s worth noting that the first season of Tom Baker era was released last year on Blu-ray. No word yet when to expect those other seasons.

The film, directed by Steven Caple Jr., co-stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris, Milo Ventimiglia, Andre Ward, Florian Munteanu, and Dolph Lundgren.

The 2018 comedy “Instant Family“ starring Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on March 5th, via Paramount. The film, directed by Sean Anders, co-stars Isabela Moner, Gustavo Quiroz, Julianna Gamiz, Tig Notaro, and Octavia Spencer. Tech specs for the Blu-ray have yet to be fully detailed, but it should be obvious that you can expect full 1080p video and 5.1 lossless sound. I’ll be updating this as soon as I learn what the tech specs are. The film on Blu-ray will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and Digital Copy of the film included. The 2018 biographical drama “On the Basis of Sex“ starring Felicity Jones is coming to Blu-ray Disc on March 26th, via Universal – according to an early alert to a retailer. This movie is based on the real-life story of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. This was directed by Mimi Leder and features a supporting cast that includes Armie Hammer, Justin Theroux, Sam Waterston, Kathy Bates, Cailee Spaeny, and Stephen Root.
Tech specs and bonus materials for the Blu-ray have not yet been detailed. The title still has yet to be officially announced by the studio (Universal) for home video release, so stay tuned for confirmation and further details.
