The 1987 film Innerspace limited edition 4K in April

Joe Dante directed the movie, which Steven Spielberg produced. It starred Dennis Quaid, Martin Short, and Meg Ryan. The supporting cast included Kevin McCarthy, Fiona Lewis, Vernon Wells, Robert Picardo, Wendy Schaal, Harold Sylvester, and Henry Gibson.

It has received a new restoration from the original 35mm negative (by Arrow Films), approved by director Joe Dante. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range, along with Dolby Atmos, as well as lossless 2.0 stereo, and a 4.0 from the 70mm 6-track mix. Tech specs for the Blu-ray version include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio along with Dolby Atmos, as well as both lossless 2.0 and 4.0 sound mixes.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray Limited Edition and Blu-ray Limited Edition sets are now available for preorder at Amazon. Also, you can find them available for preorder directly via Arrow Video’s website or the MVD Shop.

Throw Momma From the Train is coming to 4K in April

Danny DeVito directed and starred in the movie. It co-starred Billy Crystal, Rob Reiner, Kim Greist, and Anne Ramsey. On a related note, Anne Ramsey received an Academy Award nomination for “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” in the film, back in 1988.

This comes from a new master from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range, along with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0 audio on a BD-100 disc. Tech specs for the special edition Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD MA 5.1 and 2.0 sound, on a BD-50 disc.

UPDATED: The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Special Edition Blu-ray are now available for preorder at Amazon. Also, you can preorder the 4K UHD Blu-ray directly from Kino Lorber’s website.

The 1967 film Point Blank on Criterion 4K in April

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) with uncompressed Linear PCM Mono sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with LPCM Mono sound. The 4K release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.

This movie has received a new 4K digital restoration, supervised and approved by director John Boorman. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon. Zootopia 2 is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in March

The movie was co-directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard. It features the voice talents of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Ke Huy Qua, as well as Fortune Feimster, Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Idris Elba, Shakira, Patrick Warburton, Bonnie Hunt, and Danny Trejo.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless surround sound on a BD-50 disc. The 4K and Blu-ray releases will each be a 2-disc “combo pack,” with the 4K including its Blu-ray counterpart, and the Blu-ray including its DVD counterpart. Both releases will contain a digital code (copy) of the movie compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 2016 sequel Kung Fu Panda 3 gets a 4K in March
