The AppleTV+ original series “The Morning Show: Seasons 1 & 2“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 11th via distributor Fifth Season. The show has won four Primetime Emmy awards over the years and is now in its fourth season. It stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Steve Carell, Nestor Carbonell, and Mark Duplass.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray set include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.00:1 aspect ratio, accompanied by lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and uncompressed LPCM 2.0 stereo sound, spanning across an 8-disc set. The Blu-ray set is now available for preorder at Amazon. No bonus materials will be included with this release.

Samurai Fury comes to 4K and Blu-ray in October

The 2025 Japanese film “Samurai Fury” arrives on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on October 28th in the United States, via Well Go USA. The movie, also known as “Muromachi Burai“ (or “Muromachi Outlaws”), was produced by the Toei company. Yû Irie wrote and directed the film. It stars Oizumi Yo, Matsumoto Wakana, Nagao Kento, and Tsutsumi Shinichi.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Japanese Dolby Atmos (featuring English subtitles) as well as dubbed English and Japanese lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo sound mixes. The technical specifications for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Japanese Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD MA 5.1 and 2.0, as well as English DTS-HD MA 5.1 and 2.0 sound mixes, featuring English subtitles for the Japanese.

Nobody 2 is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in October

The 2025 film “Nobody 2” is slated for 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray release on October 7th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Timo Tjahjanto directed the movie. It stars Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, Christopher Lloyd, RZA, John Ortiz, Sharon Stone, and Colin Hanks. It’s worth noting this movie is “Certified Fresh” (based on critics) and “Verified Hot” (based on audiences) at Rotten Tomatoes.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray tech specs include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, accompanied by Dolby Vision and HDR10, and featuring Dolby Atmos, on a BD-66 disc. Technical specifications for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Both releases will feature a digital copy of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 1982 film “The Beastmaster“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray (in a “Collector’s Edition”) on November 25th via Scream Factory (Shout! Studios). Don Coscarelli directed and co-wrote the movie. It starred Marc Singer, Rip Torn, Tanya Roberts, and John Amos.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range. It will come with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 sound mixes. This release will be a 3-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart(s) included.
