Taxi Driver to get 4K SteelBook release in late June

The 1976 film “Taxi Driver” will finally get an individual 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release on June 25th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Martin Scorsese, starred Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster, Albert Brooks, Harvey Keitel, Leonard Harris, Peter Boyle, and Cybill Shepard. The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included, along with a digital copy of the film. The tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and Mono lossless sound mixes.
