Dune: Part Two is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in May

“Dune: Part Two” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on May 14th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The film, directed Denis Villeneuve, stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, Souheila Yacoub, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. Each version contains a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon. Also, the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are available for preorder at Walmart. It’s certainly worth noting that there will be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) and a “Dune 2-Film Collection” available on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray. The SteelBook preorder is pending. Spider-Man No Way Home comes to 4K and Blu-ray April

The 2021 Marvel Studios film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on April 12th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.  The film, directed by Jon Watts, stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, and Alfred Molina.  It should most certainly be noted, at the time of writing, this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound.  Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in 2.39:1 aspect with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.  Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K UHD Blu-ray getting its Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray getting the DVD counterpart, and each includes a digital code (copy) of the film.

You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon.  It’s also worth noting that online retailer Best Buy will be getting an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured) below which is now listed.

UPDATE:  There will be an exclusive “Fan Art Edition” on 4K UHD Blu-ray available of the film over at retailer Target (pictured below) which is now available for preorder.

The 2021 film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” appears to be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray next year via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, according to retailer listings. There’s no official release date at this point, but stay tuned for a later news story when it gets fully announced.

The film, directed by Jon Watts, stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Wong, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, and Alfred Molina.

The tech specs for the 4K and Blu-ray releases have not yet been detailed, nor have bonus materials, but stay tuned for an update on that [as said before] when the title gets officially announced. In the meantime, you can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases available for preorder over at Amazon. You can also find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at retailer Best Buy. The film, directed by Denis Villeneuve and based on the novels by Frank Herbert, stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Stellan Skarsgård, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, David Dastmalchian, and Zendaya. It should be noted, at the time of writing, this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect and Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting its Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray getting its DVD counterpart, and a digital code (copy) of each included — compatible with Movies Anywhere. You cannot yet find the 4K UHD Blu-ray or the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon, but placeholder pages are up. However, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray both available for preorder already over at retailers Target and Walmart.

Retailer Target will be getting an exclusive packaging for the Blu-ray Disc version (pictured below) which is now available for preorder.

It is known that there will also be an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook of the film available over at retailer Best Buy (pictured below). That’s listed as coming soon and is not yet a functional preorder listing.

Spider-Man Far From Home on 4K and Blu-ray

The 2018 sequel “Spider-Man: Far From Home” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on October 1st via Sony. The film which is part of the “Marvel Cinematic Universe” from Marvel Studios was directed by Jon Watts. The cast to this film included Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range along with Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and presumably just a 5.1 or 7.1 DTS-HD MA lossless mix – although not specified by the studio in the press release. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc versions are now both available for pre-order over at Amazon. Retailer Best Buy will be getting a 4K Exclusive Steelbook (pictured below) which is available to pre-order.

2018 CG animated film “Smallfoot” is coming to Blu-ray this December

The 2018 CG animated film “Smallfoot“ featuring the voices of Channing Tatum and James Corden is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on December 11th via Warner. The film, directed by Karey Kirkpatrick and Jason Reisig, also features the voices of Zendaya, Common, LeBron James, Danny DeVito, Gina Rodriguez, Yara Shahidi, Ely Henry, Jimmy Tatro, and Justin Roiland.

Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and Digital Copy of the film included. You can pre-order the Blu-ray over at Amazon.
