Tremors: Shrieker Island on Blu-ray in October

2020 (made for) Netflix movie “Tremors: Shrieker Island“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 20th, via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The movie is the latest in the “Tremors” film franchise and was directed by Don Michael Paul. It stars Michael Gross, Jon Heder, Caroline Langrishe, Cassie Clare, Matthew Douglas, Sahajak Boonthanakit, David Asavanond, Jackie Cruz, and Richard Brake. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it’ll include both a DVD counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

The 2018 sequel “Death Race: Beyond Anarchy“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 2nd via Universal. The sequel, being released direct-to-video, was directed by Don Michael Paul, and stars Zach McGowan, Danny Glover, Fred Koehler, Christine Marzano, as well as Danny Trejo. The 2018 direct-to-video Spike Lee executive produced sequel “Tales from the Hood 2“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 2nd via Universal. The film was co-directed by Rusty Cundieff and Darin Scott, writers of the original 1995 film. It’s worth noting, that co-writer / co-director Rusty Cundieff is not only known for directing the first film, but also for directing a bulk of the TV series “Chappelle’s Show” (2003-2006). The sequel “Tales from the Hood 2” stars Keith David, Bryan Batt, Lou Beatty Jr., Alexandria DeBerry, Bill Martin Williams, Martin Bradford, and Kendrick Cross.

“Tales from the Hood 2” featuring Keith David comes to Blu-ray Disc this October

The 2018 sequel “Tales from the Hood 2” is coming direct-to-video on Blu-ray Disc on October 2nd via Universal 1440 (a division of Universal Studios). The sequel to the original 1995 film was co-written and co-directed by Rusty Cundieff and Darin Scott. Most of you will remember Rusty as the director the original film, and some may recall that Darin co-wrote the original screenplay. Back again serving as executive producer on the film we have the legend that is Spike Lee. The cast will include another legend: Keith David.

Tech specs and bonus materials for the release have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned for an update on that.
