Doom Patrol Third Season on Blu-ray in November

The TV series “Doom Patrol: The Complete Third Season” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 15th via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.  The show, based on DC Comics and as seen on HBO Max, in its third season stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, April Bowlby, Diane Guerrero, Joivan Wade, Timothy Dalton, and Michelle Gomez.

The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.20:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, spanning across a 3-disc set.  The release will include a digital code (copy) of the third season of the show.  You can now find The Complete Third Season on Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon.  The bonus materials set to be included with this release are listed below.

DC Universe “Doom Patrol” on Blu-ray October

The DC Universe original TV series “Doom Patrol: The Complete First Season“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 1st via Warner. The show stars Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade, Alan Tudyk, Matt Bomer, and Brendan Fraser. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound spanning across a 2-disc set. The release will come with a digital copy of the first season of the show. UPDATE: the Blu-ray is now available for pre-order over at Amazon and at retailer Best Buy. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

“The First Purge” on 4K UHD Blu-ray Steelbook comes to Best Buy in October

The 2018 film “The First Purge“ is not only coming to 4K and Blu-ray (as reported) but it’s also going to be getting an Exclusive Steelbook  4K UHD Blu-ray release over at Best Buy. The Steelbook version, and other version of the film will be available on October 2nd, via Universal. “The First Purge“ 4K Steelbook is available for PRE-ORDER now over at Best Buy.

It’s also worth noting (as mentioned in my previous post) that the other three films in this franchise will also be getting Exclusive Steelbooks of their 4K UHD Blu-ray releases at Best Buy on the same date (10/2). Those Steelbooks for those films can be found linked to below by title for their pre-order listings (slightly more affordable, priced at under $20 each).
