The 2013 film American Hustle on 4K SteelBook in May

The 2013 film “American Hustle” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in a limited edition SteelBook on May 21st via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film, directed by David O. Russell, starred Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Jennifer Lawrence. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is still “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.
The new 4K transfer and sound mix were approved by the film’s director, David O. Russell. The tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision or HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. There will also be the original theatrical DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound mix included. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart as well as a digital code (copy) of the film included. You cannot yet find the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook available for preorder at Amazon or Walmart but stay tuned for an update. The bonus materials set to be included with this release are listed below.
