The 1992 film “Candyman“ will officially be getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray “Collector’s Edition” release on May 24th via Scream Factory in the US (United States).  The film, directed by Bernard Rose, starred Virginia Madsen, Tony Todd, Vanessa Williams, Xander Berkeley, Kasi Lemmons, DeJuan Guy, and Ted Raimi.

UPDATES:  The tech specs here include a 2160p video presentation from a new 4K master, as noted below, in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range.  It will also feature a new Dolby Atmos sound mix.  You can find details about that quoted, from ShoutFactory.com, below.

It is known (via the artwork, pictured above) that this release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.  You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray Collector’s Edition listed over at Amazon but it currently is unavailable.  However, it will be back soon, I assure you.

The 4K disc will include both the theatrical and UNRATED cuts of the film.  The full contents of this 3-disc set are listed below along with the bonus materials set to be included.
