The 2005 remake of the film “The Longest Yard“ starring Adam Sandler will be making its debut to the Blu-ray Disc format on September 21st via Paramount Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Peter Segal, co-starred Chris Rock, Nelly, Michael Irvin, Terry Crews, Tracy Morgan, Kevin Nash, Bill Goldberg, David Patrick Kelly, William Fichtner, and the late Burt Reynolds.

As mentioned, this will be the very first time this film has been available in Blu-ray format. The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.
