2020 film Smiley Face Killers comes to Blu-ray December

The 2020 film “Smiley Face Killers“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on December 8th via Lionsgate. The film, inspired by true events, was written by Bret Easton Ellis — best known for his 1991 novel turned film adaptation “American Psycho” (2000). This new film, directed by Tim Hunter, features a cast of Ronen Rubinstein, Crispin Glover, and Mia Serafino. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD presentation in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. The Blu-ray is now available to preorder over at Amazon. Smiley Face Killers was written and produced by author and screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis (novels including American Psycho, The Rules of Attraction, and Less Than Zero). It was directed by Tim Hunter, who in addition to helming the cult classic River’s Edge has directed episodes of some of the most celebrated TV shows in recent history, including “Breaking Bad,” “Mad Men,” and “Twin Peaks.” It was produced by Braxton Pope (upcoming The Card Counter, The Canyons) and David M. Wulf (Inheritance, The Night Clerk).
